Ice Grip
A pictogram — a mountain with an ice stalagmite — for a tyre meeting the minimum ice grip index of ISO 19447, measured by braking distance on pure ice. Only C1 passenger car tyres can carry it: ISO 19447 covers no other class, so a C2 or C3 tyre may not bear the pictogram however it performs. It is required on the EU label of a qualifying tyre; on the sidewall it appears where the maker has moulded it, which is a growing number of winter tyres rather than all of them.

Where ICE is on the tyre

On the tyre it is not letters at all — it is a mountain with an ice stalagmite inside, moulded low on the wall. Here it is on an example tyre.
